Roe v Wade
my body is mine
do not touch it, do not
stand in your castle and plot
against it. do not make rules
for it. how shameful
of you to come after
my body, with a battalion
of horses and men
look down at your hands —
blood dripping
from them. men
in glass rooms
make decisions for female
lives in these trenches
forced birth in the name
of what god
not mine. leave
your contorted
ideas in your sick
mind and keep them
off my body, my body
is mine.
Beautifully written. I’m with you 100%. Fuck the patriarchal “God” of separation and how cults built around it perpetuate horrors on men and women both, but especially women. So thankful for the brilliant poets like you, revealing truth whether it’s joyous or disgusting.
Goddamn hell fucking yes. I love this.
