welcome! how’s your day been

mine’s just / fine, i appreciate

you asking [i am working

two jobs to pay rent] not

everyone asks the server / not

everyone knows we are

people / oh you’d like to begin

with the bruschetta, great

choice / you’re gonna love it! [what

do you love so / profoundly the

thought of losing it separates

the skin / from your bones] and can

i get you anything to drink? [after

my shift i’ll guzzle a glass of red

on my velvet couch and watch

unsolved mysteries / hopeful they

will be solved / or at the very least

remembered] / are the drinks

tasting alright? [where do we

come from?] and how is your

appetizer? [where do we go

afterwards?] for your main

you’d like the short rib and

soup - sounds delightful / i am

delighted that you / are delighted

i hope you’re enjoying / the

entrees and your life / overall

part of me wants / to hug every

person that i meet / i do not

know why / i want you to find

what you are looking

for, what you

are actually

craving
